Brede High Wood Adventure Loop.

A vast, varied woodland with hidden water views and endless trails to explore.

Brede High Wood is one of the largest ancient woodlands in the south-east, with over 650 acres of winding tracks, shady lanes, and breathtaking views.

With East and West car parks, it would take over three hours to explore every inch, but our one-hour adventure still packs in a rich variety of landscapes.

From ancient oak and beech groves to light-filled birch and chestnut stands, and even dense pine woods, this walk offers constant change for curious noses and eager paws. The highlight for many dogs is the large reservoir, fringed with lush vegetation and dotted with small beaches that offer safe access to the water.

Each visit is different, with multiple route options to keep things fresh and exciting. This is the perfect walk for adventurous spirits who like a mix of woodland exploring, gentle climbs, and open gallops.
